Donald W. Ewig age 70 of Canonsburg, died Monday, November 2, 2009 in Washington Hospital.
He was born July 16, 1939, in Washington, the son of the late Elmer and Vivian Willard Ewig.
Mr. Ewig graduated from Washington High School Class of 1957.
He retired from Diesel's Heating and Air Conditioning.
Mr. Ewig was Catholic by faith, lived most of his life in Canonsburg and was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles Lodge 861.
He loved spending time with his children and grandchildren, enjoyed camping and was a NASCAR fan.
On August 25, 1962 he married Sandra Lee Edmonds who passed away on July 17, 2005.
Surviving is a daughter, Dawn M. Ewig.; son, James L. (Terra) Ewig, Sr. both of Canonsburg; three grandchildren, Darrien Ewig, James L. Ewig, Jr. and Haley R. Nimpfer; one brother, Robert (Mary) Ewig of Fort Mohave, Arizona; and many nieces and nephews.
