Dolores "Ann Louise" Marinelli

December 13, 1931 — March 8, 2014

Dolores "Ann Louise" Marinelli age 82 of Muse passed away peacefully Saturday March 8, 2014 in the home of her daughter at Champion, PA with her loving family by her side. She was born December 13, 1931 in Muse a daughter John Sr. and Viola Meir O'Hare. Mrs. Marinelli lived her life in Muse, where she had been a member of Holy Rosary Roman Catholic Church, the Christian Mothers and Alter Society. She was a homemaker who had been employed at the former RCA plant in Canonsburg, and for over thirty years at Salandra Funeral Home.
She was a member of the Muse Independent Women and was known for her meatballs at the Muse Independent Club and the fish she breaded for the Friday fish fries for many years. Mr. Marinelli was also a member of the GOL in Muse and the CIC of Cecil and the VFW 191 of Canonsburg. She enjoyed visiting the Meadows Casino and was a true people person who had a warm smile, kiss and hug for everyone. She will be missed by all who knew her.
On July 23, 1955 she married Mario "Butch" Marinelli who passed away March 21, 2004. She leaves behind to cherish her memory her son, Marion (Lori) Marinelli of Pleasant Hills, her daughter Belinda (George) Tayvinsky of Champion, Four grandchildren Nicholas, Giavonna and Marco Marinelli, and Ian Godfrey, her son-in-law Gerald D. Godfrey of Cecil, two brothers, William O'Hare of Muse and Robert O'Hare of Canonsburg and many nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death in addition to her parents and husband by her beloved daughter Anastasia M. Godfrey who passed away September 6, 2013, two sisters; Mary Catherine O'Hare and Ellen Howe and five brothers; Patrick, John Jr., James, Robert, Donald and Leo O'Hare.
Friends are welcome from 6-8pm Sunday and from 2-8pm Monday in Salandra funeral Service, Inc. Joseph P. Salandra owner/supervisor 304 West Pike Street Canonsburg 724-745-8120 where departing prayers will be recited at 9:20 am Tuesday March 11, 2013. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 am in Holy Rosary Church, Muse with reverend George T. DeVille, pastor as celebrant. Interment will follow in St. Mary's Church Cemetery, Cecil.
