Dennis R. Santoro age 53 of Canonsburg died Monday November 8, 2010 in Canonsburg Hospital following a lengthy illness. He was born April 7, 1957 in Canonsburg a son of the late Angelo and Mary Bracale Santoro. Mr. Santoro lived his entire life in the Canonsburg area where he was a member of St. Patrick Church. He was a 1975 graduate of Canon Mc Millan and had been employed for 25 years as a parts man at the Sears Service Center in McMurray.
He worked part time for many years at the West Pike Bowl and was last employed at the Meadow's Casino bowling lanes. Dennis was an avid bowler who belonged to two leagues and had bowled two 300 games. He was a board member of the Washington County Bowling Association for 30 years and was inducted into the Washington County Bowling Hall Of Fame. He was also a member of both the SNPJ lodge 138 and the KSKJ St. Jerome lodge 153 of Strabane and was a devoted fan of the Pittsburgh Steelers and Penguins. On August 6, 1977 he married Cheryl Haines who survives. Also surviving are a daughter, Angela (Rusty) Mancino and a son Justin Santoro, both of Canonsburg, a sister Denise Santoro of Canonsburg and many nieces and nephews.

Salandra owner/supervisor 304 West Pike Street Canonsburg 724-745-8120 where a blessing service will be held at 10:30am Wednesday November 10, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11am in St. Patrick Church.
