Delores Suprich age 79 of Canonsburg died Wednesday, March 03, 2010 at UPMC Presbyterian Hospital, Pittsburgh.
She was born October 18, 1930 in Canonsburg, the daughter of the late Daniel and Kathaleen Houlihan Grassi.
Mrs. Suprich retired from Scears Service Center from sales.
She lived most of her life in Canonsburg, where she was a member of St. Patrick Church.
Mrs. Suprich volunteered at Canonsburg General Hospital.
She enjoyed spending time with her family, played in several area card clubs and bowled for many years.
Mrs. Suprich was a devoted mother and grandmother.
On January 14, 1950 she married first husband Sylvester Chesnic, who died June 4, 1956 on February 6, 1960 she married her second husband Michael Suprich who died on May 7, 1980.
Surviving are four children, Michael Suprich of Pittsburgh, David Suprich of Canonsburg; Michelle (Dwight) Snyder of Mechanicburg; James (Patricia) Chesnic of Wisconsin; six grand children James, Chris, Lynde and Heather Chesnic and Natalie and Zachary Snyder; one sister, Darlene (Thomas) Javornicky; one niece, Stacey Superick, and two nephews, Stephen Superick and Darrin Javornicky.
Deceased are two brothers, Daniel Grassi and Richard Zoog.
Friends are welcome on Friday, March 5, 2010 from 2:00 to 8:00 PM at Salandra Funeral Service, Inc., Joseph P. Salandra owner/supervisor, 304 West Pike street Canonsburg 724-745-8120, where a Blessing Service will be held on Saturday, March 6, 2010 at 9:00 AM. Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 9:30 AM in St. Patrick Church. Interment will follow in St. Patrick Cemetery, Canonsburg.
