Deli Carosone age 84 of Muse died, unexpectedly, Wednesday January 6, 2010 in Allegheny General Hospital, Pittsburgh.
He was born June 21,1925 in Avella, a son of John and Emilia Maragna Carosone.
Mr. Carosone lived most of his life in Muse and served with the United States Navy in World War II. Prior to his retirement in 1983 he had been employed in the Insulation Department at the former McGraw Power Systems in Canonsburg. He was a member of the Muse Independent Club, American Legion Post 902 of Houston and the VFW post 191 of Canonsburg
On August 5, 1950 he married Charlene Hixon who died February 23, 1980. Surviving are his son Deli R. "Butch" (Debbie) Carosone of Canonsburg, a daughter, Donna J. Kotar of Canonsburg, a sister Norma Knestrick of Muse, four grandchildren,
Doug Kotar Jr., Scott Carosone, Christie Kotar-Ruth and Brad Carosone, six great grandchildren Yaszmin Kotar, Douglas Kotar III, Brady Ruth, Adam and Brett Carosone and Ellionna Kotar. Deceased is a daughter Tammy Jo Carosone who died at birth, two brothers Rudolph and Ben Carosone and a sister Linda Havel.
Friends are welcome from 2-4 and 6-8pm Friday in Salandra Funeral Service, Inc. Joseph P.
