Dawn Marie (Gasbarrini) Preteroti

Dawn Marie Preteroti, 48 of Muse passed away peacefully in Allegheny General Hospital on Thursday, December 21, 2017.

She was born in Canonsburg on March 8, 1969 to Victor and Lillian A. “Necca” Tatano Gasbarrini who preceded her in death.

Dawn was a member of Holy Rosary Catholic Church in Muse. She had a big heart for others especially her family members.  She was close to her parents and has loved them and missed them daily since they passed away. Ms. Preteroti enjoyed spending time with her friends and family. She had a green thumb and grew and cared for many varieties of plants in her home.

She is survived by her beloved daughter, Selina Preteroti (Amanda) of Muse who was her caretaker and rock of strength during her illness, her son Jordan Preteroti of Muse, her brother Victor J. Gasbarrini of Muse, her only loving sister Carla (James) Adams of Canonsburg and brother Dante Gasbarrini of Muse , Dawn’s husband, Joseph of Muse, a huge loving family consisting of many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and two great nieces and two great nephews.

She also leaves behind her dog Buster and her birds.

Friends are welcome from 2~8 PM on Tuesday, December 26, 2017 in Salandra Funeral and Cremation Services, Inc., Joseph P. Salandra, owner/supervisor, 304 West Pike Street, Canonsburg, 745-8120, where departing prayers will begin at 9:20 a.m. on Wednesday, December 27, 2017. A Mass of Christian Burial will celebrated at 10:00 a.m. in Holy Rosary Catholic Church, 246 Muse Bishop Road, Muse. Interment will be private.
