David W. Zeman

David W. Zeman age 62 of Canonsburg, died Monday, June 29, 2009 at 2:41 PM in Allegheny General Hospital, Pittsburgh.
Mr. Zeman was born on October 4, 1946 in Canonsburg, the son of the late Robert and Dora Godwin Zeman.
David lived his entire life in Canonsburg, where he was a member of Canonsburg Untied Presbyterian Church.
Mr. Zeman graduated from Linsley Military Academy and also the University of Pittsburgh Law School in 1973.
David served in the Untied States Army in Vietnam during the Viet Nam War.
Mr. Zeman was a life member of Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 191 of Canonsburg, director and member of Library Board of the Greater Canonsburg Public Library and former member of the Washington Bar Association.
Surviving are wife, Kathleen Haynes Zeman of Canonsburg; son Paul (Shelli) Taper of Pittsburgh; daughter, Kelly (Darren) Farella of Washington New Hampshire; three grandchildren; one great-grandchild; two sisters, Valerie Zeman of Washington D.C. and Iris Castagne of Alberque, New Mexico.
Deceased are his step-mother, Mary Dove Zeman and brother Jonathan "Jack" Zeman.
At the request of Mr. Zeman, there will be no public visitation. A Memorial Service will be held at a later date and will be announced. Burial will be in the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies, Cecil Township. Arrangements are being handled by Salandra Funeral Service, Inc., Joseph P.
