Daniel Ray Shade, age 52 of Houston died unexpectedly Monday November 9, 2009 in his home
He was born March 17, 1957 in Williamsport a son of Clarence "C R " and Nancy Johnson Shade of Aliquippa. Mr. Shade attended Hopewell area schools and served with the United States Navy for four years. He was self employed for the past fourteen years as a waste water treatment contractor.
On January 29, 1986 he married Emily Kumor who survives. Surviving in addition to his wife and parents is his son Benjamin Shade at home, three sisters, Carol (Eugene) Jennings of Brook Ky., LaLonnie Verigood of Oakwood GA. and Julia (Jeremy) McMithey of West Mayfield PA., a brother, Jason Shade of Monaca and several nieces and nephews. Deceased is his son Kevin Shade who died September 1, 1995.
Friends are welcome from 6-8pm Wednesday and from 2-4 and 6-8pm Thursday in Salandra Funeral Service, Inc. Joseph P. Salandra owner/supervisor 304 West Pike Street Canonsburg (724-745-8120) where services will be held at 10 am Friday November 13, 2009 with Reverend Carol Seiler officiating.
