Carl D. Pitzarella

Carl D. Pitzarella, 62 of Canonsburg passed away peacefully on Thursday, February 23, 2017 in his home.

He was born on March 26, 1954 in Baltimore, Maryland to Patsy and Carmella Passalaqua Pitzarella who preceded him in death.

On January 31, 1987 he married Yvonne Tabacca Pitzarella who survives.

He was a 1972 graduate of Canon-McMillan High School.

Carl worked for the Washington County Sheriff’s department for over ten years. He and his wife, Yvonne, owned Bulldog Consulting which they started together in 2010.

He was passionate about building cars, enjoyed oldies music and was a member of the Cigar Club.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by sons Nicholas R. Pitzarella (Katie Klinsky) of Washington and Christopher M. Pitazrella of Canonsburg, one sister Jennie R. Ciaffoni (William) of Canonsburg, four brothers, Vincent J. Pitzarella (Norma) of Nottingham Township, Patsy M. Pitzarella (Debra) of North Strabane, Richard R. Pitzarella (Sandy) of Washington, Stephen M. Pitzarella (Bonnie) of Canonsburg, four grandchildren Giovanni D., Harrison W., Jayce M., and  Kyan J. Pitzarella and many nieces and nephews.

Deceased, in addition to his parents, is a brother Raymond P. Pitzarella.

Friends are welcome from 4~8 PM on Sunday, February 26, 2017 in Salandra Funeral and Cremation Services, Inc., Joseph P. Salandra, owner/supervisor, 304 West Pike Street, Canonsburg, 724-745-8120. A Blessing Service will begin at 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
