Camilla Dobbs 92 of Canonsburg, died Monday January 2, 2012 in Evergreen Assisted Living in Waynesburg. She was born July 5, 1919 in Natrona a daughter of Raymond and Frances Urbanic Konopski.
Mrs. Dobbs lived most of her life in Canonsburg where she was a member of St. Patrick Roman Catholic Church. She was a home maker and an Avon representative for 41 years. She was a member of the 500 Card Club and the Wednesday afternoon Allstars Bowling Team.
On November 30, 1940 she married John Dobbs who died April 14, 1988. She is survived by her daughter Cammie (Dan) McAdoo of Washington and three grandsons John Paul (Melissa) Wilinski of Uniontown, Robert M. Wilinski of Florida and Branden Ray Brown of Canonsburg, two great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Dobbs was the last of her immediate family. Deceased in addition to her husband is a daughter, Aurella Renee Wilinski who died October 14, 1988, a brother Edward Konopski and three sisters Caroline Konopski, Helen Sadowski and Aurella Polo.
Friends are welcome from 6-8pm Wednesday in Salandra Funeral Service, Inc. Joseph P Salandra owner/supervisor 304 West Pike Street Canonsburg 724-745-8120, where a blessing service will be held at 10:30am Thursday January 5, 2012. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11am Thursday in St. Patrick church. Interment will follow in a St. Patrick's Cemetery, Canonsburg, PA. The family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Washington County Humane Society, p. o. box 66 Eighty Four, PA. 15330.
