Betty Jean Trylko

November 18, 1952 — December 7, 2020

Betty Jean Trylko age 68 of Latrobe formerly of the greater Pittsburgh area passed away peacefully Monday December 7, 2020 in the Grove at Latrobe, Westmoreland County. She was born November 18, 1952 in Chicopee, Massachusetts a daughter of the late Paul A. and Elizabeth A. Schnupp Trylko.

Betty Jean grew up in Muse and as a young adult also lived in Harrisburg, Rutherford New Jersey, Foxboro Massachusetts, Austin and Beaumont Texas. She returned home to Pennsylvania in 1984 and has lived in the greater Pittsburgh area for the past 36 years. Left behind to cherish her memory are her brother Paul Trylko and his wife Debbie of Pflugerville, Texas and their children, Tammy (James) Nordby, Elizabeth (Jeff) Hobson, brother in law James Koehler of Bend Oregon, his daughter Mandy (Bernie) Cesmat and their daughter Becca Neal. Deceased in addition to her parents is her sister Janice Ann Koehler and nephew Adam Koehler.

Betty dealt with mental illness, schizophrenia, her adult life. Through this she maintained her intellect, sense of humor and love for her family and friends. Revelation 21:4 He will wipe every tear from their eyes. There will be no more death or mourning or crying or pain, for the old order of things has passed away. Betty is home with our Lord. She has no pain, her mind is clear, and she can see the Lord.

A Catholic Blessing Service will be live streamed from Salandra Funeral and Cremation Services, Inc. Joseph P. Salandra owner/supervisor 304 West Pike Street Canonsburg 724-745-8120 at 10 am Saturday December 12, 2020. The service will live streamed over Facebook and the Salandra website, where directions for viewing are on the home page, and available at 9:50 am Saturday.
