Betty (Hancock) Harrison

Betty J. Harrison, 64 of Canonsburg passed away peacefully on Friday, October 26, 2018 in Townview Health and Rehabilitation Center in Canonsburg.

She was born on December 31, 1953 in Cecil to Leona Hancock who preceded her in death.

In 1982, she married the love of her life, Charles Harrison, Jr., who passed away in 1996.

Betty was a loving mother to her children and was the ultimate caretaker. She worked for many years as a nurses aide at the Canonsburg Hospital when it was located in the city. She loved to cook and bake and enjoyed shopping with her son Charles. She had a great sense of humor and could see the brighter side of things even in difficult times.

She is survived by her son Charles Harrison, III of Canonsburg, her daughter Michelle Kunkle of Bentleyville, her brother Kenneth Hancock of North Carolina and a niece Sabrina Hancock.

She is sadly missed by her cat Muffins who continues to look for her at home.

Betty will be dearly missed by her family and friends.

Friends are welcome Friday, November 2, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. for a Memorial Service in Salandra Funeral and Cremation Services, Inc., Joseph P. Salandra, LFD, owner/supervisor and Darla A. Tripoli, LFD, 304 West Pike Street, Canonsburg, 724-745-8120. Interment will be private.
