Betty Jane Devine, 92, of Strabane passed away on Thursday, April 16, 2015 in TownView Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Canonsburg, surrounded by her loving family.
She was born in Canonsburg on August 9, 1922, a daughter of the late Gottlieb and Myrtle Bender.
Betty was employed with Horne's for many years, later retiring from Lazarus. She enjoyed crocheting. She especially enjoyed playing scrabble with her close friend Connie.
Surviving are two beloved children, Barry Devine of Strabane and Colette (Thomas) Cox of Chesapeake, VA; two sisters, Lois Curtis of Michigan and Pat (John) DeFilippo of Canonsburg; two grandchildren, Jill and Michael; and six great grandchildren.
Deceased, in addition to her parents, are her four siblings and one great grandchild.
