Bernice H. Tyman age 77, of Eighty-Four, died peacefully in her home on April 2, 2010.
She was born February 16, 1933 in Nanticoke, Pa.; the daughter of the late Homer G. and Mildred Klimezek Gardner.
Mrs. Tyman was a graduate of Peters Township High School and in her earlier years worked for Bell Telephone and with RCA until its closing.
She lived most of her life in Peters Township and Eighty-Four.
Mrs. Tyman was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. Her grandchildren were the love of her life.
As people knew her and often said "Bernie is Bernie".
On November 5, 1958 she married Vincent A. Tyman, who survives.
Also surviving are daughter, Lisa (Troy) Miller of Palos Verdes, Calif., son, David (Linda) Tyman of South Strabane; four grandchildren, Lauren and Blair Miller and Alyssa and Jeremy Tyman; one sister, Dorothy (Paul) Lascko of Peters Township; and several nieces and nephews.
At the request of Mrs. Tyman there will be no public visitation and burial will be private.
