Bernard James Kozak

Bernard James Kozak, 75, of North Strabane Township, died Saturday, November 29, 2008 at 8:20 AM in his home with his family at his side. He was born October 9, 1933 in Muse the son of George and Kathryn Wallack Kozak.

Mr. Kozak was Presbyterian. He spent all his life in the Muse-Canonsburg area.

Before his retirement he was a machinist at Industrial Gasket Plant in Meadow Lands.

Mr. Kozak was a member of the National Rifle Association. He was an avid hunter and outdoorsman.

Surviving are his wife, Nancy Cannon, Also surviving are four sons, David A, James E, Donald W. and Jeffrey A. Kozak all of Canonsburg. A daughter Debbie A. Kozak of Canonsburg; a brother George E. Kozak of Washington, a sister Mary Mastrangelo of Muse; seven grandchildren, Michael, Jeffrey, Bernie, David, Joshua, Nicole and Beth Ann and many nieces and nephews. And also a very special friend Ron Hughes and his family.

Friends will be received on Tuesday, December 2, 2008 from 2-8 PM in the Salandra Funeral Service, Inc., Joseph P. Salandra, owner/supervisor, 304 West Pike Street, Canonsburg. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, December 3, 2008 in the funeral home at 11:00 AM. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Gardens, McMurray.
