Barbara A. Hatfield age 72 of Meadowlands passed away peacefully, Saturday morning June 5, 2021 in Washington Hospital. She was born November 17, 1948 in Washington a daughter of the late Paul K and Ellen Saw Frazier. Barb was a graduate of Trinity High School and had last been employed at Sam’s Club prior to her retirement. She was a member of the First Christian Church of Washington, VFW Post 191 in Canonsburg, formerly with the Ladies Auxiliary of Post 902 American Legion in Houston and a life member of the Arms Club in Washington. Barb was an avid reader, who had a heart of gold. She had a quick wit and always a joke. She was a true character. On November 17, 2011 she married James R. Hatfield who survives. Left behind to cherish her memory, in addition to her husband are her beloved children Thomas J. (Lori) Moore Jr. of Washington and Amy S. (Jason D.) Boyd of Waynesburg, six grandchildren, Daniel Doran, Jacob and Adam Boyd, Autumn and Stephanie Moore and Brittany Cox, two sisters Susan P. (Dan) Strope Paul of Avella and Joanne M. (James) Johnson of Independence, three brothers, Paul K (Donna) Frazier Jr. of Campbell N.Y. Michael A. Frazier of Washington and Daniel S (Darcy) Frazier of Canonsburg and several nieces and nephews.
Friends and family are welcome from 2-4 and 6-8pm Tuesday June 8, 2021 in Salandra Funeral and Cremation Services, Inc. Joseph P. Salandra LFD owner/supervisor 304 West Pike Street Canonsburg 724-745-8120 where services will be held at 10 am on Wednesday June 9, 2021. Private interment will follow in the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies, Bridgeville.
