Barbara Ann Kroh, 71 of Canonsburg passed away suddenly and unexpectedly in her home on Saturday, December 10, 2016.
She was born on June 9, 1945 in Canonsburg to John A. Demko and Bertha Matthews Demko who preceded her in death.
On September 5, 1970 she married Laird Kroh, Jr., who survives.
Mrs. Kroh attended various Christian Missionary Alliance churches over the years. She was a 1963 graduate of Canon-McMillan High School. She then graduated from Allegheny General Hospital School of Nursing in 1966. She retired from Allegheny General Hospital of Pittsburgh as an ER nurse and went to work for Dr. Anthony Galletta as his office nurse. She loved serving others as a nurse and particularly caring for the elderly, including her patients and well as her neighbors.
Mrs. Kroh was passionate about her dogs, specifically Irish and English Setters and Springer Spaniels. She also enjoyed spending time with her husband traveling and taking cruises.
Mrs. Kroh was the last of her immediate family. In addition to her husband, she is survived by her in-laws Rev. Laird Kroh, Sr., and Dorothy Kroh of Cabot, PA and a brother-in-law, Rev. Stephen Kroh who will be officiating her funeral services.
