Audrey Rose Kinkle

Audrey Rose Kinkle, age 94 of Washington, formerly of Canonsburg and Pittsburgh passed away Saturday February 23, 2013 at the home of her nephew. She was born April 5. 1918 in Canonsburg a daughter of the late Peter and Rose Miller Kinkle. Miss Kinkle was raised in Canonsburg and had been a memeber of St. Patrick Roman Catholic Church. She was a graduate of Canonsburg High School class of 1936 and the Canonsburg Hospital School of Nursing. She had been employed for many years in various Pittsburgh Hospitals as an operating room Nurse Anesthetist.
Surviving is her sister, Helen L. Stutts of Washington, eight nieces and nephews; Ray(Becky) Shipe with whom she made her home, Albert P.(Veronica) Shipe of Avon, Indiana, Joan Marasco, a missionary in Africa, Susan (Rob) Robbins of Pataskla, Ohio, Ross Shipe of Virginia, David (Jackie) Stutts of Harrisburg, and Barbara and Barry Stutts both of Washington and several great nieces and nephews. Deceased in addition to her parents are three brothers, Anthony, Theodore and Chester Kinkle and a sister, Mildred J. Shipe.
Friends are welcome from 2-4 and 6-8PM Tuesday in salandra Funeral Service, Inc. Joseph P. Salandra owner/supervisor 304 West Pike Street Canonsburg, 724-745-8120, where a blessing service will be held at 10:30 am Wednesday, February 27, 2013. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00am in St. Patrick, followed by interment in St. Patrick's Cemetery, Canonsburg.
