Anthony J. Pallaria

Anthony J. Pallaria age 71 of Canonsburg passed away peacefully Tuesday May 13,, 2014 in Allegheny General Hospital Pittsburgh, following a brief illness, with his family by his side. He was born July 31, 1942 in Canonsburg a son of the late Thomas and Mary Ann Borrelli Pallaria. Mr. Pallaria lived his life in Canonsburg and was a member of St Patrick Roman Catholic Church. He was a self employed truck driver with Pallaria Trucking. He was also employed by Russell Standard and BP oil Co. He served with the United States Army. Mr. Pallaria enjoyed Classic Cars and was an avid Steelers fan.
On October 7, 1965 he married Betty L. Cannon who survives. Also surviving is a son, Gregg A. Pallaria and a daughter Shelly (Roy) Leichty both of Canonsburg, two grandsons; Evan Pallaria and Ryan Leichty, a brother Timothy J. (Trish) Pallaria of Daytona Beach Florida, another brother and sister and several Nieces and Nephews.
Friends are welcome from 2-8pm Friday in Salandra Funeral Service, Inc. Joseph P. Salandra owner/supervisor 304 West Pike Street Canonsburg 724-745-8120 where a blessing service will be held at 9:30 am Saturday May 17, 2014. Interment will follow in Forest Lawn Gardens, McMurray. Full Military Rites will be accorded by the VFW post 191 Honor Guard.
