Anna L. Macasek age 96 of McMurray, formerly of Houston and Pittsburgh's south side died Friday June 3, 2011 in Manor Care of McMurray.
She was born January 22, 1915 in McKees Rocks a daughter of John and Anna Svenka Simko. Mrs. Macasek was a home maker who lived most of her life in the south side of Pittsburgh where she attended St. Marks Catholic Church.
In her younger years she had been employed as a care giver. She enjoyed being with her family and had been an extensive world traveler.
She is survived by a daughter, Jeanette (Lynn) Dunn of Royal Palm, Florida, two sons, Richard Macasek of Cleveland, Ohio and James Macasek of Pittsburgh, twelve grandchildren, several great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Macasek was the last of her immediate family. Deceased is her husband Andrew Edward Macasek who she married on July 3, 1934, and two sons Edward and Robert Macasek, in addition to her brothers and sisters.
At the request of the deceased there will be no public visitation and services will be private. Interment will be in Florida. Her family suggests memorial contributions be made to Heartland Hospice.
