Anna Vittoria Gostic age 83 of Canonsburg passed away Monday, June 02, 2014 at her son's residence in South Glastonbury, CT. Mrs. Gostic was born on July 17, 1930 in Canonsburg, the daughter of the late Guy and Anna D'Angelo Vittoria.
She lived her entire life in Canonsburg where she was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother and a member of St. Patrick Church.
On July 10, 1954 she married her beloved husband William F. Gostic, who passed away on August 12, 1996.
Surviving are two sons, James M. (Robin) Gostic of The Woodlands, TX.; William J. "Bill" ( Elena) Gostic of South Glastonbury, CT. five grandchildren, Kristina, Michelle, William II, Ryan and Adam. Also surviving are two brothers, Lawrence and Robert Vittoria and many nieces, nephews and friends. Deceased in addition to her parents and husband are five sisters, Gloria Guadagni, Pauline Mirisciotta, Pearl Paterra, Valia Panelli and Mary Ann Foley, as well as one brother, Joseph Vittoria.
Friends are welcome on Thursday, June 5, 2014 from 2:00 to 4:00 PM and 6:00 to 8:00 PM at Salandra Funeral Service, Inc. Joseph P. Salandra owner/supervisor, 304 West Pike Street Canonsburg 724-745-8120 where a departing prayers will be held on Friday, June 6, 2014 at 9:30AM. Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 10:00 AM in St. Patrick Church, Canonsburg. Interment will follow at Queen of Heaven Cemetery, McMurray.
