Anna “Cookie” D’Orazio age 96 of Canonsburg, passed away peacefully early Sunday morning in Canonsburg General Hospital. She was born November 24, 1927, in Carnegie, a daughter of the late Frank and Mary Hareza. Anna lived most of her life in Canonsburg and was a faithful member of St. Oscar Romero Parish St. Patrick Church. She had been a co-owner of the Kozy Kove restaurant where she was the cook. “Cookie” was a dedicated homemaker who loved her family and enjoyed cooking and Senior LIFE. On September 23, 1950, she married Joseph B. D’Orazio who passed away April 24, 2008, after 57 years of marriage. Left behind to cherish her memory are her devoted children, Lonnie Flood of Canonsburg, Cosmo (Diane) D’Orazio of Washington and Joseph (Karen) D’Orazio of Richmond Virginia, her sister, Helen Fedenko of Florida, six grandchildren, five great grandchildren, her sister in law Anna Chuppetta and several nieces and nephews. Deceased, in addition to her husband and parents are her brothers John, Frank, Joseph and Stanley and sisters Mary, Clara, Frances, Catherine and Agnes.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 9:30 am in St Oscar Romero Parish St. Patrick Church 317 West Pike Street Canonsburg, with her nephew Reverend Joseph Luisi as celebrant.
