Anka (Annie) Stajduhar age 74 of Muse, passed away on Saturday, May 26, 2012 in Broadmore Senior Living, Bridgeville.
She was born on January 3, 1938 in Ogulin, Croatia, the daughter of the late Vlado and Marica Vucic Luketich.
Mrs. Stajduhar lived most of her life in Muse, where she was a member of Holy Rosary Catholic Church.
She worked many years at Western Center as a supervisor in the food service. Mrs. Stajduhar was a member of St. George Croatian Fraternal Union Lodge 354 of Cokeburg and a member of the St. George Adult Tamburitza Ensemble. She enjoyed gardening spending time with her family and friends.
On May 13, 1967 she married her beloved husband John Stajduhar, who passed away on March 16, 1990.
Surviving are, sister-in -law Anne Barnes of Canonsburg, brother-in-law Elmer Gasper of Muse and nieces and nephews, Robert Gasper, John Gasper, Richard Barnes, Kaye Gasper, Jackie Irwin, Vesna Cindric, Ana Bertovic, and Drazen Luketic and several great nieces and nephews.
Deceased also are two brothers, Josip Luketich and Stipe Luketich, two sisters in-law, Sophie Malacky and Catherine Gasper, and brother-in-law, Matthew Stydahar.
Friends are welcome on Tuesday, May 29, 2012 from 2:00 to 8:00 PM in Salandra Funeral Service, Inc., Joseph P. Salandra owner/supervisor, 304 West Pike Street Canonsburg 724-745- 8120 where a Blessing Service will be held on Wednesday, May 30, 2012 at 9:30 AM. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at Holy Rosary Catholic Church at 10:00 AM with Father George DeVille as Celebrant. Interment will follow in Oak Spring Cemetery, Canonsburg. In lieu of flowers family suggest donations can be made to the Croatian Fraternal Union Scholarship Fund 100 Delaney Drive Pittsburgh, Pa. 15235, in memory of Annie Stajduhar.
