Angeline "Bubbles" M. Wingard

Angeline  “Bubbles” Wingard, beloved mother and grandmother, age 82 of Canonsburg passed away peacefully Friday July 28, 2017 in Genesis Rehabilitation and Heath Care of Bridgeville following an extended illness. She was born February 24, 1935 in Canonsburg a daughter of the late Donato and Mary Dellorso D’Amico. Mrs. Wingard lived her entire life in Canonsburg where she was a graduate of Canonsburg High School. She was a faithful member of St. Patrick Church where she had served as a Eucharistic minister, a member of the Christian Mothers and Guild and was very active with the Pro-Life Group. Mrs. Wingard had been employed in her younger years at the former RCA plant in Meadowlands and for many years served as a library aide at the First Street Elementary school. Prior to her retirement she had been employed as a receptionist for her brother at Art D’Amico Plumbing Company. Mrs. Wingard was always a kind and loving person who enjoyed spending time with her family, dancing and various church activities.

On September 11, 1954, she married Robert D. Wingard Sr. who passed away Monday February 27, 2006. Left to Cherish her memory are her three loving sons; Robert D. (Pam) Wingard Jr. of McDonald, Daniel W. (Jody) Wingard of Canonsburg and Kenneth (Debbie) Wingard of Strabane, nine beloved grandchildren; Robert D. Wingard III, Crystal Berry, Emerald Wingard, Daniel (Caitlin) Wingard Jr., Ashley (Corrie) Woods, Ryan Wingard, Kristin (Jeff) Keeney, Tiffany (Joshua) Bogardus and Mark Wingard, 8 great grandchildren, her sister Mary Jane Neish of Canonsburg and several nieces and nephews. Deceased in addition to her husband and parents is her son Mark Wayne Wingard, two brothers Carmine and Arthur C. “Hutty” D’Amico and two sisters; Minnie Kostic and Marge Sacco.

Friends are welcome from 2-8pm Monday July 31, 2017 in Salandra Funeral and Cremation Services, Inc. Joseph P. Salandra owner/supervisor 304 West Pike Street Canonsburg 724-745-8120 where departing prayers will be recited at 11:30am Tuesday August 1, 2017. A Mass of Christian Burial will then be celebrated at noon in St. Patrick Roman Catholic Church 317 West Pike Street Canonsburg. Interment will follow in St. Patrick Cemetery. The Christian Mothers and Guild will recite the Rosary at 2pm Monday in the funeral home. Memorial contributions in Mrs. Wingard’s name may be made to St. Patrick Church.
