Alma Rogale age 89 of Canonsburg died on Thursday July 15, 2010 in Golden Living of South Hills.
She was born on April 6, 1921 in Meadowlands, the daughter of David and Angelina Amistadi Bazzoli.
Mrs. Rogale, in her earlier years, worked for Standard Tin Plate during war time. She was a former member of St. Patrick Church and lived most of her life in Canonsburg. Alma was a devote homemaker, her family was her life. She also enjoyed reading and loved to dance especially to polka music.
In June of 1945 she married Joseph Rogale who died March 20, 2007.
Surviving are daughter, Janis Rogale of Canonsburg; two grandsons, Jeff (Michelle) and Jaron (Courtney) Laskowski; four great-grandchildren, Seth, Calli, Paige and Jaron and several nieces and nephews.
Deceased are three sisters, Virginia Craig, Alfonsina Bell, Delores Bell and two brothers, Arigo and Evo Bazzoli.
Friends are welcome on Saturday July 17, 2010 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM ay Salandra Funeral Service, Inc., Joseph P. Salandra owner/supervisor, 304 West Pike Street Canonsburg 724-745-8120. Funeral Service will be held Sunday July 18, 2010 at 11:30 AM in the funeral home. Interment will be private in the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies at a later date.
