Alfred B Pape

Alfred B. Pape, 95 of Canonsburg passed away peacefully on Thursday, November 17, 2016.

He was born on October 19, 1921 in Canonsburg to Dominic and Mary Ann Burns Pape who preceded him in death.

On June 30, 1943 in Evanston, Illinois he married Jennie Pazurkiewicz who passed away on August 4, 2002.

Mr. Pape attended Canon-McMillan schools. He was a veteran who served in the United States Army Air Corps and was a member of the VFW Post 191 in Canonsburg. Mr. Pape was a member of St. Patrick Church in Canonsburg. He retired as an Engineer from Cooper Industries in Canonsburg after working there for many years.

He was a man of honesty and integrity, a very loving husband, father and grandfather, who will be dearly missed.

Surviving is a son Ronald A. Pape (Pamela) of Jefferson Hills, two daughters Patricia J. Trembach of Washington and Judy A. Brunasky of Bel Air, Maryland, two grandchildren Alicia R. Pape and Alexander H. Pape and two nieces.

In addition to his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by a brother John A. Pape, and two nieces.

There will be no public visitation. Funeral and burial will be private as previously requested by the deceased and his family. Salandra Funeral and Cremation Services, Inc., were entrusted with his care.
