Albina "Beanie" Yarkosky age 82 of Strabane passed away unexpectedly Sunday August 26, 2012 in Canonsburg General Hospital. She was born March 31, 1930 in Strabane a daughter of the late Joseph and Veronica Karwowski Staniszewski.
Mrs. Yarkosky lived her entire life in Strabane where she had been a housewife and member of the KSKJ St. Jerome Lodge 153. She was a member of St. Patrick Roman Catholic Church in Canonsburg and an avid sports fan who enjoyed baseball, football and hockey.
On July 23, 1949 she married Ervin A. Yarkosky who survives. Also surviving are her daughter Andrea (Dennis) Rybacki of Canonsburg, her son James Yarkosky of Washington, four grandchildren; Amy Rybacki, Andrew Rybacki, Kelly (Brian) Renne and Jason (Lyndsy) Yarkosky, two great granddaughters; Emma Lou and Morgan Renne, two sisters Frances Schimansky of McMurray and Jean Kusky of Strabane and several nieces and nephews. Deceased are four brothers John Joseph, Enoch, Walter and Vincent Staniszewski and four sisters; Josephine Staniszewski, Sr. Mary Lucille CSSF, Loretta Habe and Helen Schrader.
At Mrs. Yarkosky's request there will be no public visitation. Private family visitation will be held Tuesday August 28, 2012. Friends and family are encouraged to attend a 10am Tuesday Mass of Christian Burial in St Patrick Church with interment to follow in St. Patrick Cemetery. The family suggest memorial contributions be made to St. Patrick Church. Arrangements are entrusted to Salandra Funeral Service, Inc. Joseph P.
