Albert W. (Buddy) Hendal age 80 of Muse, went to be with the Lord, in his home on Saturday, December 19, 2009 following a brief illness.
He was born May 26, 1929 in Hanover Twp. a son of the late John and Minnie Mclean. He was adopted by and raised from infancy by Carl and Bertha Hendal. Mr Hendal lived in Muse for the past 50 years and was a member of the Cecil Christian Missionary Alliance. He had been employed in construction and was a member of Teamsters Local and the United Mine Workers of America. He had been a flea market vendor for many years and was an avid hunter, NASCAR and Pittsburgh sports
ethusiast. Most important to him was spending time with his family
On May 29, 1954 he married Patricia Vallet who survives. Also surviving are three sons, Kirk (Susan) Hendal and Troy (Cetina) Hendal both of Strabane and Rodney (Laura) Hendal of Cecil, three sisters, Marie (Jr.) Scarfo and Gretta Gillespie both of Southview and Lois (Robert) Crawford of Houston, seven grandchildren, Shelby McGrady Brensda Haynes, Tawnya Yimin, Andrew, Austin, Alec and Kaylie Hendal, three step-grandchildren, Glen, Brandon and Luke Haynes, five great grandchildren, Rylie McGrady, Jaedon Yimin, Nicholas, Noah and Nevin Haynes and several nieces and nephews. He will be sadly missed by his dog Misty. Deceased are two sisters, Bertha Corthers and Jean Owens and two brothers Anson McClean and Robert Spencer
Friends are welcome from 6-8pm Monday and from 2-4 and 6-8pm Tuesday in Salandra Funeral Service, Inc Joseph P. Salandra owner/supervisor 304 West Pike Street Canonsburg where services will be held at 11 am Wednesday December 23, 2009 with the Reverend Eric McAdams Pastor of the Cecil Christian Missionary Alliance officiating.
